Todd Rice has lived a varied life, having lived in Texas, Chicago,
Washington, D.C. and now South Florida. He has worked for the
Speaker of the House in Washington, D.C., the Federal Aviation
Administration, on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange
for an Internet Service Provider in Latin America and was the CEO of a technology company.
As an improvisational
actor, Todd trained at The Second City, as well as Improv
Olympic and Blue Velveeta at The Improvisation Comedy
Club in Chicago.
He has trained performers with a variety of troupes nationwide and has likely performed with the largest variety of performers as any other improviser in the country.
As a writer, Todd helped run screenwriting seminars in Chicago, was a Board Member of the Chicago Screenwriters Network and was asked to submit as a writer to Saturday Night Live. Luckily SNL didn't ask him to join the show. His writing skills have been used in many comedic videos that have been seen by hundreds of thousands online, both credited and uncredited.
As an actor, Todd appeared in Picasso at the Lapin Agile as Gaston for the
Miami Stage Company, performed in a British Panto with Davy Jones, hosted Football Tonight on Chicago radios' WCBR, appeared in various short films and was almost type-cast
as a Chicago cop in features, having appeared uncredited in a
couple of big-budget films including the Fugitive (1993)
and Blink (1994). Todd also was featured in 1 Anunaki
(2004) and performs corporate and voiceover work, being the voice
of State Trust Life and other corporate entities.
As a Director, Todd formed THEY improv in Fort Lauderdale and expanded the company throughout the United States and beyond. This has included the teaching of the improvisational art form, using his business skills to advance corporate clients through consultation and team building and providing entertainment for companies that also often educates to corporate doctrine.
Due to his background both in business and entertainment, he is under great demand as a motivational speaker, corporate trainer and entertainer for a variety of companies ranging from family businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He has vast experience with the oil industry, government contractors and has worked with various branches of the military and law enforcement. A wide array of references are available upon request.
